The lure of meat – good meat, well cooked – always offers one of the purest pleasures of life. Meat punctuates and spice up our lives with flavour, brilliance and goodness, and gives us a feeling of great satisfaction at the end of a protein-rich meal.
After a long day’s work, it’s natural to want a good carnivorous meal: a huge juicy burger, a square of tender and tasty ribs or a perfectly grilled steak. The meat is tasty and a little meat goes a long way to filling the stomach. It is also an excellent source of complete and easily digestible protein.
